....the one that secures the crank sprocket.

Managed to get the dampener one out, but the second one isnt moving at all.

I have been applying oil.
I got the other one out by hammering a drift on the top, and it lifted up at the back.
This one, i have slightly more space in front, so ive tried from the front, and on top.

The other method ive read about is to use a dremel to cut a slit down the center of the key - but theres no good angle to do this (dremel conflicts with the rest of the timing case)

I think my best option at the moment is to drill a series of small holes along its center line. That's not going to be that easy either, but i think it will be possible.

Any other ideas?

Id hit it pretty much every way i could think of, prior to posting - the first came out without too much bother, but the second...

I cut as far as i dared with the dremel, and then whacked it some more, and its now sorted.

Use a cape or half round chisel, and go between the woodruff key and slot in the crankshaft.
My first choice is the half round chisel
