Got a dammed bizare problem on a 1999 TD5 Disco ! First thing in a morning or first start of the day the indicators/hazards don't work, they try but just flicker, a long with the rear fog light and although full beam works the light on the dash does'nt work either ! Once it's been running for about 20 mins with the heater on full whack everything works fine all day until left over night again !

Had me head in the dash, checked all fuses, relays etc. I think that it might be a bad/wet earth !! Anybod know where it might be coz I'm stumped !

Cheers !

I would suggest that you start your investigations at the BCU (Body Control Unit).
You should find that hiding behind the passenger's glove box, that's if that's where LR put it on lefties.

Most likely culprit is the main or the passenger compartment fusebox.

Both have multi-way plugs and the blades get corroded, particularly the passenger compartment box.

Remove the fuse box from behind the glove box.

The connectors are straight forward, prise it apart, good chance you will find corrosion on the board and the plug sockets thereon

And don't forget to disconnect the battery

Everything looks fine & dandy ! Must have just got a bit of damp and has dried out as it seems to be OK now -Thanks for your help ;-)
