And I had forgotten first thing Saturday morning, trying to sort the groups out in the pouring rain at the side of the road PMSL

Sorted it tho Sue :D:D i would much rather the task of the bit of cow herding we came up against

Good thing you never got to the top bit of Fountains Earth, there is a bull in with those cows :D:D

Only found out when I was chasing them out of a gateway PMSL

Thanks for a great couple of days Sue. I'm just back from the Dales today. No signal or wifi until now!

Thanks for riding shotgun on the more tricky sections Zip. Hope you enjoyed the luxurious cab :)

Photo's look great Landrography. I'm relived there is a record of the trip, it turns out my daughter accidentally deleted all her pics whilst 'reorganising' them!

Some of you may remember I was experiencing lack of boost issues. Despite that, the beast had no trouble offroad, but I was struggling to keep up on the hills between trails.

When I got back to base, the problem was traced to a split in the cheap looking pipe that came with my turbo gauge, so I just disconnected the gauge and everything was back to normal. Had no problems towing my trailer back.

OUCH! Shame about losing the pics. I never get around to taking many pics when I'm out on these trips - too busy driving: Hanging out the window with a camera phone whilst negotiating Cam or Marske would be a recipe for disaster for me! I'm scared my lad might drop his phone too.

Always good to find an easy "fix" to landy troubles. You going to reconnect the gauge at some point or do without?

Shame that the D2 had the 3 amigos, we were looking forward to the trip.

I've got some good quality fuel hose in the garage so I can reconnect it, but I can't be arsed at the moment :) Will need to get the engine bay shiny again first, so that's a job for another day. I think I'll relocate the turbo gauge whilst I'm at it, it's very difficult to read where it is.

Didn't stop us last time mark i could have pulled you around again :D I'm sure you would have love The Rock and Belford :rolly::D:D

Hehe! I do believe Belford is quite impassable for a stock D2 currently  :p

sp00k - don't spend too much time reading the gauge, especially when off road ;)
