ok time for me to ask a daft qs

on my 1983 rrc on the left hand side of the steering column cover there are 2 switches wtf do they do?

if your in wiltshire/hampshire/dorset the one to the left should say S71 which is a tracking device fitted to most landrovers for recovering knackered serieses. The other button is the anal lube applicator.

Seem to remember that one switches the backlighting for the dials off/on.
Cant remember what the other one does tho.

On some models I think the rear wash and wipe are on seperate switches, but think you would probably of sussed that, any chance of pics?

one button is for the NOS and the other activates the flux capacitor

and as we all know NOS stands for New Old Stock and a flux capacitor is where you keep your soldering materials
