I have a 2008 Freelander 2 with high line stereo. It has the capability for DAB but of course my car isn't fitted with it. I have noticed that there have been a few DAB modules on Fleabay recently and wondered if it is just a case of bolting this in and connecting to the existing radio, or do you need other parts to make it work.
Any ideas anybody?

You can retrofit it relatively easily - need some fibre optic MOST cabling made up, power and ground for the module, new roof pod and side window antenna amplifier and the config on the car changing and you'll have DAB

I've done 3 cars now

Hello I am looking to do the same on a FL2 2008, but I am looking for a more comprehensive set of hardware / instructions. Specifically do I need any additional wiring, and more importantly - how do I get the config file changed?
Also, can anybody confirm exactly where the DAB module is installed ?
As you can tell this in my first Freelander 2, and I am lovin it!

Thanks - and I apologise for my lack of knowledge but I am learning fast!
