This isn’t a for sale thread, as you’ll see. Depending on the response, I might put a proper ad in the correct section.
2010 D4 TDV6 HSE auto with 220,000 miles. 1 year’s MoT. Tyres all very good.
Work done in the last 2 years:
- Body off, replace EGR and crossover pipes, timing belt and fuel pump belt, front-to-rear brake pipes and one rear upper wishbone.
- New Hitachi suspension compressor.
- New propshaft.
- New rear caliper.
- Both front lower wishbones, complete.
- Tailgate actuator.
- Coolant manifold under the intake Y piece.
- New turbo diverter valve actuator, diverter valve cleaned and lubed.
- General brake pads and service stuff.
Defects:
- Scratched left rear door and quarter panel.
- Two little dents on the edge of the roof where a ladder fell on it.
- Missing left foglight bezel.
- Occasional secondary turbo boost pressure fault pops up, when cold. It stopped doing that after the EGR pipes were done, but now and again it recurs.
Sold to a mate recently, but he’s taken it in for wheel alignment and the bloke said the underbody corrosion was getting bad (note it’s just passed the MoT). Also because of that fault popping up he’s making noises about not wanting it.
Now, you might be thinking caveat emptor, but he is a mate and I can’t force him to keep it. Would there be anyone on here interested? If so, I’ll take it back and post a proper sale ad with pics.
