But briefly..... In 2006 my brother (a farmer) won a D3. For the first 4 years of it's life it spent more time in the dealers than on the road, so it was consigned to farm use only. The seats were ripped out and it was used for moving feed, sheep, etc etc around the farm. It became pretty battered and after a year or so and it was only firing on 2/3 cylinders. It wouldn't start on the starter so was always kept at the top of a field so it could roll down the hill to start. That was fine until one day it had rolled down the field (unmanned I hasten to add) and into the slurry pit, it stayed there for a few months until we dragged it out last week. The scrapman took it away a couple days ago and gave him £300. Seems he did well, I was offered it for nothing!
