Nooooo cloth is just wrong in a discovery but each to their own, be able to get the vehicle cheaper too.

I have cloth seats in my D3. From a comfort point of view, they are better than leather. From an appearance point of view, leather is better.

When buying a D3, check everything. These are big complex and amazingly fragile vehicles. They constantly need something doing to them. I couldn't afford one if I didn't do everything on it myself. They are not particularly hard to work on, they just need lots of time to keep them happy.
As said bushes fail in short order as do brake pads. Remember the D3 weighs almost 2.7 tons so is heavy on suspension and brakes.
Performance isn't bad and the TDV6 has lots of torque, just remember, that weight will have an affect ;)

Oh. I love mine!!

Well just had a test drive in an Auto 2.7 and......... Its whooshy enough for me. Sorted. Totally crap trade in on my P38 but heyho - slave to the fashion...... Bring on Thursday :)

They're really nice aren't they????

I recently drove a re-mapped one and if you like the std, you'll just lurve the re-mapped version of the same engine.

Its a low mileage 60k on a 56. If it had leather seats I was having it although they are cloth. The leather looks better I admit. Its really nice and tight and felt' just right. Fingers XX'd :)
