hi all,
been a while but in 3 years of D2 ownership, I am now £15k into it. Most spent on repairs and a little on suspension/tyre mods. EVERYTHING has been done on this truck and still it lets me down! Aaaaaarghhhhh.
I have a new quirky problem that has developed in recent weeks and I am desperate for some views please
Recently I noticed that after getting up to engine temperature, it would drop down at a junction and go back up again. replace the sensor and now it flatly refuses to get above 58-60 degrees C (reading based on my Nanocom output). The needle on the dash gauge is barely above cold and it is baltic in the cab. There is some heat but it does not correlate to the temp on the display. I have turned it right up but it makes no difference in temp.
I have run it down dual carriage ways, on country roads with and without revs but it just wont budge.
It had a new T/stat in January this year.
Could it be a t/stat issue or are there any other likely places to look?
Thanks
