you saw one case now... it's the 3'rd i see when the glow plugs had to be removed to restore easy cranking after unnecessary throttle usage ... i dont recommend to anybody to touch the throttle on a Td5 while cranking if it wasnt empty and IMO if it starts with the throttle it would have started without it tooive never seen one lock with excess diesel caused by full pedal, difficult starts are helped by full pedal often, petrols are a different matter
