I said in my last post the screech had gone well it did go but came back within a couple of miles.

When it was ticking over it was ok but when you gave some revs (2000rpm) it started again.

So I took the fan off so I could have a proper look round with engine running while it was ticking over and then got a mate to rev it a little ignoring the screech and just looking around the pulleys I saw a slight mist coming from the engine towards the radiator so took the revs down to tick over and then up to 2000 rpm and tick over and every time the revs went up the mist would appear again.

Anyway to cut a long story short the coolant was coming from the thermostat housing where the top hose attaches.
Underneath where the housing goes into the hose it had corroded causing a slight drip at tick over but a squirt when high revs are used.

I've took it for a good run after topping up the coolant and putting the fan back on and everything seems to be working fine no more screeching and no more rattles.

Fingers crossed I think its sorted
