My D2 has leather seats.
Maybe something to this then, wouldn't have thought so but there you go!
Although recently I have done the same journey in one hit rather than two and the back pain has gone. Bit weird really.

My son's has leather, I just find for a big car they seem to be cramped inside.

Good for rear passengers due to no transmission tunnel.

Seats are good, but not quite as good as a late big Vauxhall on long trips.

Kids prefered the D2 due to height and no prop tunnel, I found it easier to get into VX rear seats as more room.

I do miss the 3 figure cruising speeds though.

Worst D2 thing, is even though I have short legs I cannot get the seat back far enough.

Back seats are OK but I feel sick travelling in the back of a car.
Front seats don't offer enough adjustment therefore making for a cramped driving position.
2a was more comfortable.

For a vehicle of its size, it is odd that the gap between seats to step up to for rear passengers is so small. They do all like seeing above front passenger heads though.

Well I have had the D2 back for a month or so now and going well. Decided to replace battery as a precaution as it died a couple of times while at the garage fixing the new hubs and abs leads. It was there for sometime!

With the defenders I am just not getting the time to drive it as well so to free up space on drive and my weekend jobs list I will be selling.
