Hope you all had a good Christmas and a drunken New Year!
Has anyone replaced the lower bush on the front shocks?
Is it possible with the shock in place or is it easier to remove the turret and shock, fit the bush and then replace the whole unit?
Any advice/tips greatfully accepted ta.

Thanks for that sierrafery. I have read Rave but the pictures really help. You are a legend and the font of all knowledge!!!

For the extra cost I found it better to change the whole damper. If the bush is shot then the damper must be on it's way out as well.

Yeh considered that but after a good look decided the damper was fine, it is just the bush on the drivers side that is shot. Nevertheless I will replace both of them.

Hi all....if you've got to take them out and they've done more than 50-60,000 miles surely it is much more sensible to replace them as you will only be removing them when they fail which means you will take them out to do the bushes, and then take them out to replace them, which feels like twice the work?

I just replaced them....unless of course you enjoy the practical side which is cool and groovy.
