Morning all i have been offered a td5 front prop off a d2 i been looking around an there is no real answer if they fit or not and has anyone done this i have heard about the ujs not been greaseable but are their joints on the market that are greaseable thanks for any help

Interested in this too, I have heard they do fit but the joints are prone to failing. Maybe as you say due to lack of grease. Tempted to buy a secondhand one to try but only if it is an upgrade.

Thats what i want to try as i can get one fairy cheap compared to buying one brand at hundreds of pounds i did see a page on some one in austraia that found ujs that was greasable an replaced all ujs but didnt say what he used it on so im temped to buy it an have a go just wounded if anyone had done it before

Did a quick search and you have to change output flange to suit prop. So I think that's why I didn't bother. My front prop slider is worn, so likely to get a secondhand standard one with a good slider and rebuild as necessary.
