I finally caught it, with the volume up you can hear whatever it is running 3 times

it's definitely SLS, that the compressor working

Cheers, I wasn’t sure as when I heard it before it was when I’d put the battery on charge and it started up like that it sounded like it was coming from ABS.

As long as it stops eventually I don’t mind unless it’s a sign of something failing

Aaaaaand.......mine does it too. Where I park at home the ground is sloped with a bit of a 'twist' to it and the compressor buzzes anywhere from two to five or six times when I turn off, get out and lock it. Don't understand why, but it doesn't seem to have caused any problems so far.

It seems that 2001+ modells are more commonly doing it... mine doesnt do that nor ever did even though i replaced the SLABS ECU with the uprated SRD500070 one

mine does this and i have coil springs, whoever did the conversion left the compressor set up as it was.
if my compressor is running i just open a door and it shuts up ;)

You could simply remove the relay(R5) though,, or if this brings up the warning unplug the compressor's pliug but better find somebody with tester and set it for coils cos it can develop a battery drain

it doesn't seem to do it as much now after we did the chassis welding and i removed the passenger side sensor arm, i haven't got round to removing the other side yet, but yes it should be set up for coils which would turn it off i suppose?
