Good afternoon guys, need some advice regarding my power steering leak :( it's coming from the front passenger side and dripping down on to the steering guard. It's also over the chassis front left :( . Would I be correct in thinking that the pipes have gone or could it be the pump? If I top it up it works fine no unusual noises.
So what to do? I know I've got to replace them but can this be done with the radiator in or is better work space wise to remove it?
How long roughly time wise is it to do roughly , just so I can set aside the time and press worn the wife

Start by thoroughly cleaning the area that's covered in fluid & the components you suspect.
Then run the vehicle & you'll have a much better idea of where it's actually coming from.

Stupid question about to be asked %) , what is the best degreasant ? Or is it the old fairy liquid? I don't really like using fairy liquid as it does have a high content of salt (no bull s%i#)
So washing anything metal Ithe can overtime start the rusting off.
But I appreciate your tip and I will just do that when I find a good degreasant
Have a great weekend and keep it right side up!

Three things are required, a degreaser such as Gunk or similar, and old clean paintbrush to get into the awkward bits and plenty of elbow grease.
You should also consider a fairly large drip tray, unless you want to spend the following few weeks getting muck stains off the driveway/garage floor, eye protection and a hose to wash the degreaser off with clean water before you carry on with the work.

Hi Brian47 thanks for reply to my post, I will get myself off to Halford for some gunk then. I've got plenty of elbow grease lol. If it's one thing I love doing, it's doing the jobs right first time
