Evening,

The rear left speaker keeps popping,

However it only does this while listening to the radio and any volume except 0, but it doesnt do it while listening though any other input ie ipod/cd player,

Ideas short of pulling both the stereo and speaker out and making sure all wires are inserted correctly ?

Strange symptoms, what kind of noise?

I would have suggested blown speaker, but I guess if it is only whilst on
radio it is probably a problem with the head unit.

Sounds like its blown,

all it does is pop

Mine did similar when I first bough it - in fact the previous owner had disconnected the offending speakers.

I cured the fault by changing the head unit, reconnected the disconnected speakers and all was happy.

Might not be what the answer you were looking for but it's how I cured mine.

Might just pick up a set and a new header,

could be the way forwards cheers guys !
