hello all, another loss of indicators post for you all to enjoy..
Last week was driving to work and went to indicate left and the stalk went all funny (turns out all switchgear has broke down) so replaced the stalk but still no indicators! I couldn't hear the relay clicking so changed him for a known good one and still nothing. I've got power to the relay plug but nothing after that? Just to add to the confusion, the previous owner fitted some cheap ****e aftermarket alarm box and every time I open the doors it flashes all indicators! I'm lost and really need my truck back:(

First off I would remove the alarm connection, then check over the wiring using
The diagram,
It’s quite a simple circuit but often the hazard switch sticks and can cause problems, so operate it quite forcefully but don’t go mental:)

Which relay do you have fitted?

3 pin or 5 pin?

Do you have power and earth to your column switches?

I've gone through the circuit and can't find anything that would cause a problem. I've ordered another 5pin relay and I'll try that tomoro and see if anything changes. I'm tempted if I can't solve it to just run a fresh look for the indicators

Can anyone share the correct wire colours for the lighting circuits, you don't want to be swapping out the loom for random colours, as you'd hate yourself later on when you have a different issue :/

I'd make a whole new indicator/hazard loom and colour code appropriately to separate it from original loom and hopefully cure the problem and any future problems but that's be only if another relay doesn't cure it
