Following on from my post here and cancelling the purchase and receiving a full refund, today I still received this part, thanks seller .

Anyway for those peeps who wish to see a close up pic of this EGR mod find below a few links.

Which is the best EGR mod to get, see below pics...

As stated avove by loads of people look at the base of the 2nd black one and compare it to the one I posted above, the black one is a lot thicker.

You lost me after "which" but if you read the above I was not asking for advice but showing the poor EGR against the better quality one, hence the pics posted.

mine dunt look like either of those, it's like the top one, but made out of stainless, with neat welding.

works well too.

in your posting you say "which egr mod is best", sorry dude, I thought you meant you still needed convincing which one to go for

No LOL I know which is the best in quality the black one but I have fitted the other one that I received today and I will say it fitted like a glove and no alterations or forcing was needed.

It went in place as easy as the original but I dropped one of the bolts down between the grill and radiator and gad to find something else as a temp bolt.

Anyone with a spare bolt I can have

I'll pay postage.

just find your local "fastner" supplier, and replace all four with allan bolts, like the ones that come with black egr mod

True, there is one near me that I forgot about, will call in asap and get 4 new ones.

The last picture of the "not so good" piece says "base is 5 to 6 cm thick", make it 5 to 6 mm (millimeter) and we have a deal ......
