Hi all
I have a 300tdi fitted into a series 3
I am currently in the process of building a snorkel kit but I'm not sure that to do with the breather pipe that connects from the cyclone filter to the air filter pipe
Can I just fit a breather filter into the end of the pipe or does it have to be connected via the airbox?

Also is it possible to bypass the cyclone filter as I understand they can be problematic at time

Cyclones generally work well enough given an occasional clean. Can't you leave it conected to the air pipe?

I was going to disconnect as I'm building a snorkel kit and was just going to use a breather filter on the pipe that's usually connected to the intake pipe if you think that should be good?
