Hi there just a quick one this time:

gonna remove my cyclone breather and give it a clean but what do I clean the inside of it with?

Thankyou lovely Landy folk :)

I used parafin. Just left it soaking for a while then rinsed it out with more and left it to dry overnight.

Thankyou for that :) Ended up having to replace the cyclone breather with a new one as the seal on the old one was shot, but I'll keep your 'parafin info' for future reference :D

You could have just replaced the O ring. Would have been a bit cheaper than buying a new breather.

Yeah you're right but the whole unit looked 'tired' (trying to think of a nice way to put it! lol) Anyway got the new unit for £10 and fitted it myself :D a small and simple job for you of the more experienced types but a huge leap of confidence for me ;)
