Morning all - I'm an old member who has not posted for quite some time, so will you please bear with me if this has already been done to death, but . . .
I have a 2001 TD4 which has recently developed a cv joint type "click" when turning a sharp corner, but not on every corner. The car is in my local garage at the moment, and the guy working on it is not convinced that it is actually the cv joint at fault - I've asked him to change it anyway, in order to eliminate it from the equation.
So my question is - if it is NOT the cv joint, what could it be ? Am I looking at an IRD problem ?
It's the nearside front, by the way
Thanks
