Had my tv for 2 years, i pay 6quid a month to have it covered for everything bar theft and scratch to screen.

suddenly it develops an intermitting fault where sometimes i cannot change source. Say from virgin box to xbox, wont change and wont display anything on the source its on.

Have to turn tv off then back on again (at the wall, standby doesnt work)

So sent it off for repair on 2nd of april, tv gets sent back 10days later seems to be working fine, then about week or so later same problem, so ring up explain this and guy arranges a collection for 23rd, also suggests i ask for a write.
So they collect it again, now 21 days has passed since origional return, this states im entitled to ask for a write off and get vouchers for currys to go buy a new tv. So i request this.

Get a call saying they cannot find a fault with the tv and are returning it to me. So i say there is a fault its intermittin and can be ok for a couple of weeks, keep the tv untill you find the fault. They said there returning it. So ok

told is was tuesday the 3rd of may, im in work so change delivery to work address. 3pm comes round and no tv, delivery hours are 8-6.30, So i ring up to check on delivery. Guy says i see the request for address change in the notes but nothings been processed. Tv is out for delivery tho. So i call home and check with sister and nothings been delivered, nor has a missed delivery card been posted. so 6.30 comes and nothing so i head home.

ring up next day, guy doesnt have a clue, he said a repair has been made to my tv, so i ask what was done. His reply 'theyve changed the hard drive'
The what now? hard drive in my tv. Its not a fancy new one with internet or anythin. No hard drive in there mate. So he aint got a clue. said ill get a call about it from his manager.
next day goes by, no call.
ring up again. not getting anywhere here.
WTF

Should i jsut refuse delivery now and demand the money to go get a new tv or keep ****ing around with a tv that ISNT fixed and somehow cant seem to find its way back to me in its broken state.

fed up with currys now.

where do i go.

im sure it was inadiquately packaged and was broken when you opened the box ..........

So if one disappeared you could claim, who knows, it may have been a bird wot stole it.:D

Extra warranties...lol... mr.Moneysupermarket guy and his experts reckon most extended warranties aint worth the paper they're written on and in some cases can void original manufacturers 12mth warranty (you'll have to read the small print on that).
Much better off going down the insurance route with household goods (after initial manufacturers warranty runs out), after all....you pay a fortune to insurance companies.... if you dont ever claim... you may as well be giving me the money.

All donations will be forwarded onto HFH and LZ running costs ;)

I'd do as others have mentioned and take things higher up the chain of command, stick to your guns... you've been paying for cover and want the issues resolved.
