Hi!
where is the best place to buy a VCU in UK these days?
It may be that I cant get the old one in for exchange (But I might be able to), so I dont know if New is also an option?
Cheers

You can still buy a new VCU, but keep in mind that GKN haven't made them for over 10 years, so although a new VCU is unused, they're not technically new.
It seems the fluid ages if not used, so new isn't necessarily the best choice.
Many use reconditioned VCUs, Bell Engineering being the best reconditioning company in the UK.

Thanks @Nodge68
I think Bell Eng sell them for £180 plus £100 if no exchange
Hopefully someone from home will be coming down to visit this year to smuggle one down to me and then take back the old one
And I can compare prices with buying one down here (Liable to be much much more expensive tho :( )

Just going to take the prop off after the MOT now - my VCU is seized solid

68, eh? 67 was a slightly better vintage ;)
Thanks again
Best
