it will be attached to a lt230 with the 1.003 ratio, i didnt know about 2.83 diffs, tell me more....
thought about mid engine and use p38 axles. easier to mount the rad and i/c as well.
i thought the p38 casing had the diffs to the nearside, therefore when you turn the engine and box round the props lined up.think p38 axles diffs wont line up with lt230 IIRC
the 545 isnt much longer than the zf.
Ash's 110 is pure LR Porn.
There are plenty of 6bt auto's in truck breakers trouble is alison box is huge
Ashcroft were doing 1;1ish ratio kits for the lt230 a few years back
I wish I still had my cummins 6x6 , sold it to buy machinery. It was a cool old thing ,
I once did some work at duxford air museum and drove it down along side the runway to the first building where in flight service are. It had open stacks on it and people just stopped and stared at this thing that sounded like a road train but looked like a nasty old defender
Only a bad one, the one with the engine in was with mock up piping to test the engine, somewhere I have the forms to make silicon hoses for the conversion
