the wee cuby hole bit in the roof middle at the front, whats it for? it has a wee hole in the middle you can put your finger up into it? think i may have something missing as they way it looks it not really clear what its supposed to be for etc?

For the young shiny people who wear dark glasses all the time that the 3 door was originally marketed to. It's for storage of said dark glasses.

I do have three Freelanders right now, one of which is a three door. I don't have any dark glasses to go in the roof cubby though.

Indeed, which is why I said it before one of the tratterers came up with something equally original.

Tratters are great, but I know what what vehicle I'd rather be sitting in to avoid being shaken and deafened at the same time on a long journey.

i was always convinced that it was designed for a remote control, to operate electric gates or garage door

so with the remote in there u could operate it through the hole in the overheard console
