i 'made' mine fit. there is a lowered rectangle underneath it that doesn't quite line up with the series one. i just shaved it down a little and put some brackets to hold it in place.
 
ill pick one up on saturday morning then,if i cant mek it fit itll look nice in me mums living room!!
 
ah but i added with the correct tools....... you'll not fit a discover axle if you don't have a grinder, a welder and access to a pillar drill
 
Having worked for an indy I know you have to be very careful what yo say. You'll tell one person something will fit and they will come back and moan later 'couse they had to buy two metric nuts, you'll tell someone else that you can't put a TdV8 from a Range Robver Sport in a Series One, and they will come back on Monday and accuse you of talking rubbish as they did it over the weekend and it "just dropped in."
You can't win.
