Will my questions ever end !!

Anyway, tried to operate my cruise control (at 50mph) the light on the switch came on, but no little pic of the motorway came up and of course cruise was inoperative.

I've checked the fuses and the other functions that run off the same fuse are working

Just wandering if there were any other areas to check ?

Diesel or petrol? as the systems are different.

If petrol split vacumn pipes are a common fault

if it's Td5 see RAVE - Workshop manual-Engine management-Description- (scroll to) Clutch switch...u'll see what i mean and check it out, and adjust the brake light switch by fully depressing the pedal and pulling the switch's plunger untill it reach the pedal
