Hello,
I have a question I couldn't find a clear answer yet. I own a 2002 Freelander TD4 (2.0 BMW M47 engine) with manual gearbox and I would like to retrofit it with cruise control. Is there a solution for manual gearbox as well, or just for auto gearbox? If there is a solution for manual box too, what do I need to buy for retrofitting? - thx in advance, Sandor.

Hi

Find one with Cruise Control already fited.
It’s safer and straightforward.

Thanks for the response. Yes, basically you are right - I have to say - but mine is in pretty mint condition and I don´t wanna replace it to be honest. So I´m still looking for a solution for retrofitting if there are any.

There are universal type CC kits, which you could probably make work with the ECM and factory switches and manual box.
Unfortunately you can't retrofit the LR CC system, as the TCM is used as part of the CC controller network, which means it's only possible on an auto box.
