i have seen cruise control kits on ebay for about £60 for my td5 is it worth it do you think?

Depends on how much " cruising " you do !.

I put it on my TD5, and, although I dont go on the motorway much, I still use it if I,m going to be in 5th for a few miles.

At £60, its a very cheap upgrade, as all the wires are there.

Definitely worth doing. Great for helping you keep to speed limits, as well as making for very relaxed cruising.

i think you might have just twisted my arm! i do do some long journeys and it would be nice to sit back and relax and just steer the miles away!

Wish I could have cruise control on my 300 tdi. Had it on my BMW 3 series and it's one thing I do miss!

It really does turn motorway driving into a cruise.

cruise control is brill.

i can easily double my journey length, takes up so much less concentration energy i can last twice as long without falling asleep!

D1 with 300tdi has cc as an option. As in its optional whether it works or not. If its not the hose its the switch on the steering wheel and if its not that its the sodding compressor....at which point the hose goes again. I had it on an ES once and it nearly worked.A bit.
