will the 300tdi cross member fit in the same holes in 200tdi cross member

Gearbox crossmember?

Yes, the chassis are the same, but the crossmember fits in a different position IIRC and the gearbox mounts are actually different, although you should be able to use either mounts...

thanks for the info i have a pto winch and the shafts touch the 200 gearbox mount on my series 2 A
