Make your wife test drive it first .. and not just a quick spin up the street. My wife won't drive mine at all, she wouldn't drive the Disco either, unless it's a real emergency. She loves being a gate bitch when laning, but just hates driving it.
my Mrs is without doubt fussy - but she absolutely loves the fender! makes her have an inner smile! lol aint the most comfy as we know and I have a set of bucket seats but she really does love it

I am sure everyone cares about their kids.

You don’t generally roll a Defender in normal driving. I only know of one accident in the last twenty years where kids were killed in a Defender accident and in that case the vehicle had been badly modified with a lift kit by the owner and was speeding.
which could happen in any vehicle, lift kits completely change the road feel to me. I just like plodding in the fender :)

110 CSW's aren't too bad at parking, there's a lot of visibility from the rear and side windows plus a cheap reversing camera put high up makes it a doddle.
In fact I prefer it to my eurobox daily driver with it's low seating, ridiculous pillar sizes and blind spots.

@JimS the only thing I don't like about the 110 is the turning circle! big issue here in the lakes, how do you find yours?

You can adjust the lock stops on a 110 which improves it a little, but it will never be as good a turning circle as a 90.
I drive my 110 all day every day around town, and don’t have any issues with the turning circle, you just get used to it.

hi if i had to part with my 90 i would def either get the best tdi disco 1 or a rrclassic as theyre great comfortable well capable and your more likely to find it still there when you come back from where youve been out ,and alot cheaper tbh
