Hello all,

Just a quick one. Wondering if I’ll need cranked arms on my rebuild. I’ll have a 2” body lift and a 2” suspension lift too. I understand around 4” lifted you’d need cranked arms for the prop to cope with the increased angle but considering I’m only lifting the chassis from the axles by 2”, would they still be needed?

Yes, no, maybe ;)

I’d recommend doing some reading up and understanding what the cranked arms offer and why. And then decide yourself if you need them or not. :)

Okay thanks, out of interest would you recommend them on my vehicle off of what I described in the OP?

From what I have read the idea of cranked arms is to correct the axle castor angle and simultaneously reset the level in the radius arm pin where it passes through the chassis ear bushes.
