nope that's just put in place before I drove it further in,as I had to cut down 1 of my drifters so I had the space between the rad as my drifter. Did not take the rad out but covered it with a piece of 18mm ply so I could not do any damage to it,so All back in place.:)
 
Did you use the drill and self tapper method of removing the seal or could you pry it out? What did you use to secure the pulley whilst swinging on the crank nut?

no I used a seal pick set that I had and to hold the waterpump and the pully a very large set ot mole grips that went over the edges so they would not damage the groves,then a big socket bar to cracked the nut off.
 
Well decided to give the car a good wash and polish and at the end went to clean the screen stood on the running board drivers side and it dropped and the passenger side is the same, so looked underneath and the box section has rusted away. So just ordered so 30mm box to replace the rotten lot so will weld it in later.
