Hi all, can some one clarify what type of crankcase filter is fitted to a 2009 Freelander 2 2.2 diesel please

A non serviceable one if indeed one at all.

Ok, so there's nothing to change or clean during a service, like in the early Freelander ?

No - there’s no maintenance needed on the FL2 breather system

That thread relates to the BMW M47R engine fitted to the FL1.

This thread relates to the Ford Duratorq engine fitted to the FL2.

The 2 vehicles share no components, except maybe a few light bulbs.

Ahh ok my td4 is a bit manky round the pcv. Any ideas?
