Td4 2006 freelander.
Struggling to undo the crank pulley bolt, I’ve got the landrover tool to hold the pulley but still can’t undo the bolt! I previously tried holding the pulley manually - no chance, getting the bolt a bit warm, ended up snapping two 3/4 inch adapter, tried securing a bar and spinning engine over - nope, tried an inch drive looonnng torque wrench, snapped the 1/2 - 3/4 adapter. This thing is so tight anyone know of a fixed socket/bar combo that won’t snap? Don’t think I should go down the 1inch drive socket route in case I snap the torque wrench! Sorry for the long post!
