See you sunday.

Hi Colin.
I will be going on sunday to Cowm. mines pale blue RRC bobtail...easy to spot.. two wheels on back (ballast) and yellow roof n bonnet lightpod. G210ARX. A mate o mine will be in his 3.0v6 Fronty :) (if he can get a wheel bearing fixed in time)....
If not, I could do with tagging along ie someone to follow/be followed etc.
What CB channel are you on?
Just gone on muddywater website to have a look (could do with joining a local club but haven't found one yet). I know you guys are t'other side of Pennines.... but web small text is in different language?

Hi everyone, I was all set for Sunday with my 2 lads but the clutch on my 110 has started slipping.
We will try another day when I've had a look at it!
Anyone got any advise?

Yeah, defo don't go off roading with a knackered clutch....
There's plenty of other days throughout the year.....if you can't make Cowm this sunday, there's always Kirkwood4x4 early feb (google them for more info. both sites have their own websites)

I've got it booked in for a new clutch and cam belt on Monday, I'm going to get my new AT2's fitted along with steering& diff guards with jate rings on the back. What else would anyone suggest before going to a pay&play?

That's all you need mate!

Always good to have a strap/rope - it's polite to ask someone for a tow and use your own rope. I like to help pull folk out but would rather get their straps dirty than mine!! :D

Great day at Cowm today...nice n muddy...and the RRC behaved itself and went like a storm when I gave it some beans!
Will have a look on his website later to see if the photographer got some shots of it.

Funniest bit was when my mate and I stood by the butter van getting some drink n food. We'd watched a shogun being ragged earlier. It limped past us at the van with a flat tyre, undertray hanging off and door bottoms damaged. Passenger gets out and zip ties the undertray back, then squirts some ****e in through the valve I think.. Driver gets out and says its for sale, would I like to buy it!

Anyone else go and take a camera?

yes i went in me 90, didn't take any photos, (well 2 and 1 vid) i was having to much fun,

well after a bad start, i bent my steering arm by 11, halfway down a hill, it was a v shape took it off and bent it back to carry the full day

good day

Repect to ya for bending it back n carrying on with the day. cool

I did a few rock sections, not a massive fan, I do prefer the mud! The muddy 'u' shaped short section up on the hilltop not far from one of the national grid towers (near to that 'pond') was a particular favourite...had to keep goin back on that one to do it again!..
Yeah, I always start out with the best intentions to get photos, but also get pre-occupied with the driving!:D

Well...atleast it's not a friday!

P.S, mate Rob has sold his Frontera and got a sooped up Omega, with the intention of also getting an off road play thing. Not sure what, but he's come round to the idea a LandRover of some description cuts it better than most other makes.....

So, I will defo be there..I think Rob will, either in passenger seat of mine or in something he's bought between now and then.
See you there mate
