I didn't want to start a whole new thread for one question, is it normal for the car to sometimes lower to access height when switched off unless the inhibit switch is pressed? There aren't any leaks anywhere, the compressor is good, the overheat switch is good and so is the pressure switch, the valve block has had replacement o rings and diaphragm. I do get an occasional 'pressure signal constantly high' fault and once got a 'pressure signal constantly low' fault which dropped the car and started the 35mph warning. Sorry if this has been answered before but I don't have time to trawl through millions of eas fault threads, thanks.

My P38's suspension always used to stay exactly where you left it (for days) so I guess you must have an issue..
 
Depends if you are parked on level ground. Mine has been known to drop a bit, especially when I'm unloading tools/stuff and it does its re adjustment thing. Although it doesn't drop down to the actual access height, when you get back in the car and fire it up the access light flashes for a second or 2 until it rises up to normal.
Check the thread new eas problems on page 1 (towards the top at the moment) where pressure fault has been discussed.

What you said there about it flashing briefly before rising, thats exactly what it does. I'm guessing it's either supposed to do that or it's electrical as if I press the inhibit switch it will stay where it should be indefinately.

Yes. It flashes briefly just while it gets to normal ride height (not because its in access mode). On mine when I press the inhibit switch it does stay where it should be even after a few days. But (strike me down with lightning) I do use the access mode a lot. I know the argument is that I'm overworking the compressor, but hey, I want to use the feature that the P38 was designed to have, and it's mighty useful when unloading the back and for my 5 yr old daughter to climb out the door.:cool:
 
I read that thread as you suggested and I think I will swap the driver pack to see if the fault i mentioned ever returns, and while there have a look at the connectors as suggested, cheers.

Some of those heights are no more then a sales gimmick, any 5 year old should be able to climb in at wading height:rolleyes:
