just bought another 300tdi to add to me collection, the latest 1 is an auto just asking what oil i should but in the gearbox as i've never had an auto before, me next question on me other 300tdi got a straight through middle section on exhaust took EGR out as well do i need a cat put back in for ne MOT regulations or can i get away with my currant exhaust.

Any Dextron II or III spec Auto transmission fluid will do, think LR quotes AQF?

On the cat question, No! The cat for MOT reg is only for petrol models.
