That looks tip-top, Storm. Gonna do mine when the weather gets a little better. I don't have a compressor so it's gonna be roller-ed all over. I've seen some very pass-able paint jobs done with rollers - as you say, it'd just look odd with an "as new" paint job on top of all the little dents and lumps. The main reason I wanna paint mine is because I took off the gay "County" stickers on the doors.... along with all the paint underneath. :(
 
I wasnt sure about the paint...but for a tenner i thought, why not...it really came out well, on the tin it says 10 year guarantee!! Doubt the landy will last that long! Good thing with rollers is you can just quickly cover up any bad scratches etc you get over a year.

bloody hell, it was only a joke, sorry if I offended you and it does actually look quite nice. My friend is doing his sj himself so I may see how it turns out and maybe go down that route when I get mine, i have looked around and most people say it will cost £70 upwards for materials thats why I thought you may have been having a laugh with me and the you have to find out how bit.
 
my god, thats an amazing finish! like that blue too, might have to nick that!

was guna do mine with a roller, black. not too sure now iv seen that blue! need to do it quite soon, the current paint job was with a brush! and very little paint by the look of it.
 
you can get a motor panted for enaware from £500 to £5000 it just depends on the finish you wont wen you get your landrover take it to a spray shop and ask them for a price

And then go home, paint it yourself and spend the money you've saved on cocaine and whores.
 
Bloke at work paid £2K for a respray of his 90. I would be furious if I'd paid that for how it turned out. Clearly the preparation work was minimal / non-existant. They've just masked it up and blown a couple of coats of paint over it.
 
just got the paint for mine 5 liters for £30 dark green it says brunswick on the tin painted a bit on an old bit of plate in garage looks ok got 5 liters so when it gets bashed can just slap some more on just need a set of van sides now (hate the windows) then its going on
 
I'm looking at swapping my van sides for windows if you are interested. Good condition, currently black but if you are painting it anyway?
