Last night I had a minor disagreement with a telegraph pole - is was hidden in a hedge I was parking INTO!

Fortunately the only damage was a 3" crack in my bumper end cap - but it's there, and I know it's there, and it's one of those things thats going to niggle me.

So I rang round a couple of dealers this morning and I've been quoted £130 for a piece of coloured plastic! And thats 'supply only'.

Anybody got any recommendations?

Get the Series.
If you ever need to get a new bumper (30 quid) and BT will certainly need a new pole.:)

aye just wait until bt send you the bill for the stick!
then you will know expensive is.

Evening.
A good mr fixit would melt the two bits together, fill the gap and then paint over for about 60- 70 poonds.
Nick.

If it's made off thermo setting plastic welding it isn't that difficult. Just shave some bits of plastic of the bumper where you won't see it, get your soldering iron and melt the sides of the crack together using the shavings as a filler. I did this with the seat fairing on my bike and even though i didn't match the two sides of the crack flush it wasn't a bad job.
