proper job no change from 1000+proberly twice that..all the money is in the preping..
go and do yourself..dont rush it,lots of coats, light first, then a couple of coats medium, then to finish a slighty heavier coat..last one is the one that may run, thats where the skill comes in...timing important too, each coat must not dry,yet must not be too wet before next..expect job to take twice as long as you thought,
practise makes perfect, its fun too,and once its dry, flatened down..(you will need a good mop) and you at landy show being smug showing it off, one can be proud that you did it yourself!..
so..cost..rubing down bits,paper,discs etc £20 +£100 for d.a.
primer and paint hardener etc..£100+..can use b&q ****e for a tenna for a crap job if you wish!
compressor...hire?? or borrow? £?
gun..as much as you can afford..but £50 gets you a half ok one..mop £50+
quite a saving over £1000-£2000!!
