i put llanarmon into multimap and it send me to flat-land near Pwlheli! what a load of ****e... right, ang on.

the entrance in dol i on the right up between 2 houses, if you reach the carpark on the left you have gone too far ;)
 
an its quite steep and tight turn at the top of the driveway

I was up there in me mates disco when we went up last, went there on the saturday on our tod. We went up and thru the forestry then started to head over to Betwys but he chickened out and we turned round. and if you think it's tight going up you want to try guiding a nooby in an 300 tdi auto who kept it in Low D instead of sticking it into 1st, to stop it changing up. Bastid nearly ran me over 3 times.
 
Griff, Llanarmon DC is at the easterly end of the Motorway that is also known as the Wayfarers. On your epic Welsh adventure are you doin Happy Valley?
 
yer :D route names include (in order) sarn helen - soar y mynydd - strata florida - happy valley - bwlch y groes - wayfarers - conquering hero (Sp?) - pheasent steps (as i now know what its called) :D

route takes about 4days at leisurely pace with wild camping option. prob spend an extra day at cadair idris to climb it.

route is entirely legal (to my knowledge) planned with help from NSLRC and Widget ;)

one place to look at for wild camping is Lake Alwen but dunt tell yella as it his most favoorit lane network in all of Wales
