Brick acid contains hydrochloric acid which will react with the aluminium and create aluminium chloride and hydrogen. In other words it'll dissolve your panels and not just the aluminium oxide. You need to rub the panel area down to get rid of even the tiniest spec of aluminium oxide, then do what dieseldog69 said. Thanks for the reply.
Do i need to treat with brick acid first to prevent future corrosion coming back through.
If you can't make it immaculate it'll just be a matter of time before the oxide breaks through the paint again.Ok thankyou very much for your help. What about if I can't make it immaculate and it has pin holes in? Thanks
