Hi all

Suddenly thought its time to put the correct fuse back in after bodging with a piece of wire from a flytipped fridge for over a year! The circuit in question controls the Kenlow fan and the wipers and it blew whilst both were in use, hence the need for the emergency fridge! Question is what rating should that be? They are torpedo fuses on a 2A with the V8 from a Rover P6.

Cheers

Original spec on a 2A were 20-amp fuses in the holders. This isn;t completely applicable with what you have because neither of those items (Kenlowe) or the V8 were stock .

Were it me I'd have the kenlowe on a 10-amp fuse direct to battery positive and not through the fuse block, and if the V8 is a points/carburettor type then it's fine with the stock setup as the coil will draw the same as the 2.25 originally in the vehicle.
