Hi Everyone, I recently purchased the timing tool lrt-12-085 from the local Land Rover dealer. I have a 300tdi Automatic 1998 so it has Edc is this the correct tool as in the Workshop Manual it specifies that its for Edc and manual gearboxes or do i need lrt-12-044 which says its for automatic?
I'm unsure as it does say lrt-12-085 is for Edc but doesn't mention about it being for automatic gearboxes?

THe difference in locking pins for the auto, is because it is inserted in a different way, the hole is not underneath the box but behind an inspection plate on the vertical face of the box.
