Mine came from my oldberlingo (same as freebies) as the on on this was from a reliant robbin i tbink lol the first winter after killed it off
my new battery I had on last week is a Bosch s4 110 80 AH cost of £96 from Euro car parts I though it was bigger than that ,but in size it is very nearly as big as the battery tray so I can not see anybody getting a bigger AH than that on the tray. but may be I am wrong
Im thinking of getting a bigger 1 for my l series freebie 1, as im in and out ofit all day and locking unlocking it drains thebattery fairly quickly i also flattened it using the windows without the engine running.
Any suggestions?
Had the same proem with a starter pack simply was nt good enough to turn the freebie over.

The SPE is a right pain in the ass on the Hippo. It got right on my tits so the next time I was down in the Midlands I went down to a buddy of mine who is a LR Independant and borrowed his Test Book to disable it...it was a piece of cake to do and took all of 15 minutes max. and that included re-synching both keyfobs.
If you are thinking of having it done and only have one keyfob, get yourself another keyfob from a breaker before you get it done as the re-synch forms part of the procedure and you will have the spare fob ready to go. You will of course need a spare chipped key cut and programmed as well but this does not entail another session on diagnostics as the chip is programmed by the key cutter/locksmith.
Interesting they call it a 110, when it's an 85 Ah battery? Can't knock Varta though.See previous thread.
This is the Varta F18 in situ.
Fits in battery box with no cutting but no room to spare.
Box says it is 317mmx175mmx175mm.
110 is just a size code, the drivers handbook uses a different code with H6(096) or H7(115) for a td4 so the battery tray is designed to take a 315mm long battery.Interesting they call it a 110, when it's an 85 Ah battery?
