I used the old washers when i did my engine change and its difficult to start 1st thing in the morning so i'm looking to change them and the injector washers too.

Cheers James ;)

unless they are leaking diesel out then there not an issue ,injector washers will show leakage if you squirt some water or thin oil etc around there locating holes ,id be looking for air getting in wet around leak off pipes or filter, lift pump back

The banjos aren't leaking so i'll check round the injectors - the leak off pipes do look old so i might change them all the way back to the ip.

Thanks for the info :)

I use Dowty Seals mostly.

They look the biz. Do you know what sizes are required for fuel leak off washers and injectors? I have a small but persistent leak on one of the fuel leak offs. I think I might have a tiny leak on one injector.

just buy some err1304 washers and a length of new 3mm rubber leak off pipe

I seem to remember that you heat them to red, then quench - opposite to steel.

Copper can be annealed either way.

When it's heated though, it's a good thing to keep the heat for a short while, a couple of minutes or more, before quenching in air (slowly) or water. Allows it all to normalise ...

Hi daz , I have leak off washers and injector washers if you need some mate. I just changed all mine and got a pack of 20 :)
