You would never make any friends in it.

Moot point after the zombie apocalypse I suppose.

just read two great post apocalypse books , The Road (by the greatest living American Author) in which the hero walks and the Dog Stars (find it , read it) in which the hero flies a Cessna, slow reliable, fixable. (he also teams up with a survivalist who has been stockpiling ammo since God was a lad).

Point is neither of them are reliant on land based motorised transport.

If it's a nuclear apocalypse then a diesel will work once you bump start it but isn't one of the side effects of a thermo nuclear device , that the magnetic field fries all alternators and starters?

If Batman drove a Land Rover it would be this one

How could he possibly drive a Defender the Americans are so jealous they have banned the imports of them.
Never mind he will have to settle for a *eep. :hysterically_laughi

You don't need electrics to run a landy once its going, I found this out the hard way, as it were. Lights or any electrics don't work but the engine will run. 200tdi btw.

Oh and you would make friends if you owned that beast. Albeit friends with a group of land rover thieves

Mines the coolest landy since fitting the 265 insa turbo special's last weekend:D

That is pretty awesome looking, kind of the look that I am going for. Still can't decide if I like the tubular bumpers or not though.

Do you mean the ice-cream van at the bottom of page 27? It hasn't got a tubular bumper!!
