Hi all,
My P38 is leaking coolant, but I am not sure where from. Initially, I thought it was the Heater Matrix O Rings.
So, after dismantling half the front end, it turns out the O Rings were previously done. They weren't leaking at all so that's one less issue.

I did, however, use a UV dye to inspect any locations for leaks and these were my findings.

The fan can vote coolant all over, an easier test would be a pressure tester. You can pressurise while the engine is off and cold

Certainly worth nipping the clips up. Wash it off and see if it reappears. Should be easy to see that dye in the carpet if it is leaking inside.

Right, it might be worth buying the kit and investigating from there.

As for the video, what can explain that leak? What’s the name of the part that it’s leaking from?

I investigated the inside - thankfully the O Rings aren’t an issue.

Good news. It'll show up if the matrix itself is leaking too.

If you're unlucky it might be the rad itself leaking but I would nip up the hose clamps first.

Could be a pin hole that only opens under pressure?
Buy, borrow or hire a coolant pressure tester then do a number on the engine bay with talcum powder so you can follow the tracks back …

Check along the top radiator for hairline cracks more so to the right side top from the front ,and the expansion bottle , Mine had very fine cracks n it sweated coolant ,,on yours,if its the v8 also the manifold coolant pipes , throttle body pipes  ;)..
